Choral area 2020 International Tour

The Choral Area is excited to embark on another amazing international tour. This tour will be an amazing, and no doubt life-changing, experience for our singers! The UW-Eau Claire Choral area has a rich history of providing educational performance tours to its members. We are proud of this commitment to international education and look forward to another exciting performance tour in 2020.

​ Berlin, Germany; Leipzig, Germany; Amiens, France; Caen, France; and Paris, France

Pricing

The base price is $3,350 per person.
This rate is for students and is based on double occupancy in the hotels.

Land Package

The land package includes:
  • Round-trip airfare from Chicago to Berlin - (UWEC will provide a bus from Eau Claire to Chicago)
  • Nine (9) night hotel stay in Berlin, Leipzig, Amiens, Caen, and Paris.
  • Two (2) meals daily; breakfast and dinner
  • All ground transportation while in country
  • Multilingual tour managers (one-per bus)
  • Tickets and fares for excursions outlined in itinerary


Travel insurance

All travelers will be enrolled in travel insurance through the Center For International Education at UW-Eau Claire as mandated by the UW-System. The insurance provider is Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI)

Cost: $18 per student

All checks made payable to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Insurance payments are separate from the cost of the trip and will be collected by the choral area.

Payments

All payments will be made to BluGold Central located in the Old Library (OL 1108). Payments must be made in person (cash or check) or by mailing a check directly to BluGold Central:

BluGold Central will collect the $3,350 base rate from everyone. All payments MUST be made at BluGold Central.

Each student will receive a coupon payment booklet. Each payment made MUST be accompanied by a payment coupon.

Payment Schedule
  • Oct. 31 - $650.00
  • Dec. 9 - $750.00
  • Feb. 10 - $750.00
  • Mar. 30 - $600.00
  • May. 4 - $600.00

You may make multiple payments at once, however BluGold Central will not accept incomplete payments or payments in other amounts.

Note: the university requires every UWEC student to purchase a travel insurance plan through the Center for International Education. The cost is minimal (around $18). This insurance is not included in the $3,350.
