- Zedashe Ensemble is a polyphonic vocal choir and dance group based in the easter medieval fortress city of Sighnaghi, Caucasus Georgia. Zedashe's repertoire includes folk songs, instrumental melodies and accompanying dances, which were collected from old publications and learned from village song-masters from around the many diverse regions of the country.
- An opportunity for all students involved in choral ensembles at the University to meet each other while laying the foundation and groundwork necessary for choral collaboration.
- The Symphonic Choir retreat allows members to spend time together making music and strengthen their sense of community.
- High school students looking to become leaders and educators in music can come and workshop with our faculty to build musicianship and directing skills.

- This campus-wide event affords several choral ensembles the opportunity to show UWEC what the choral department has to offer. In this exciting performance, students will be exposed to numerous acts and groups that will leave them wanting more. Features The Singing Statesmen. Tickets will be made available at a later date.
- This performance begins the annual Clearwater Choral Festival Tradition, a two-day event that has played an active role in the development of the UWEC Choral Department and the surrounding communities. In this performance, audience members will witness the collaboration of all UWEC A Cappella has to offer; a must-see show for any age group. - In the middle of the day, UW-Eau Claire's Women's Concert Chorale and Singing Statesmen will perform for the participating students at Clearwater Choral Festival with the chance for a Q&A session afterwards. For more information, visit our Clearwater Festival Page.
- A staple of the UWEC Choral Tradition is the annual Clearwater Choral Festival welcomes over 250 talented high school musicians from schools throughout the upper Midwest. Student musicians are selected through director nomination and spend the day learning and rehearsing with UWEC Choral Faculty. After spending the day learning and perfecting choral music, the festival choir gets the opportunity to take the stage with the esteemed UWEC choral ensembles. - Novum Voce, the chamber choir on campus, and instrumental chamber ensembles share the stage for a concert of music representing diverse eras and styles.
- Concert Choir and the Women's Concert Chorale take the stage in a concert that will be sure to demonstrate what choral excellence means. In this concert, audiences will hear the power of UWEC choral ensembles as they collaborate on repertoire spanning the classic and contemporary period.
- Every year, UWEC sends one of its three touring ensembles to perform in regions away from the Chippewa Valley to perform in a number of venues, as well as collaborate with local high school programs. - Symphonic Choir specializes in the study and performance of extended works composed for choir with instrumental accompaniment. The group is composed of students, faculty, and staff from many scholastic disciplines within the University as well as singers from the greater Chippewa Valley and Eau Claire community.
- A nationally recognized tenor-bass ensemble, The Singing Statesmen take the Gantner stage to perform a diverse array of vibrant and engaging choral music. Statesmen alumni are warmly invited to join the students on stage to close the concert with Ron Jeffers’ “I Have Had Singing” and the Songs of the University.

- The university is proud to present a concert that aims at collaboration between a variety of ensembles for the annual Holiday Concert. UWEC is proud to host the annual Holiday Concert at the Confluence in an effort to truly bridge the university with the local arts scene of Eau Claire. Features Concert Choir, Novum Voce, Women's Concert Chorale, The Singing Statesmen, Symphonic Choir, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Orchestra, and more. Tickets will be made available at a later date.
- Come sing Handel's Messiah alongside musicians from UW-Eau Claire and the greater Chippewa Valley – all are welcome! Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance for warmups and a brief rehearsal. Although primarily a singalong, seats will also be set aside for audience members who wish just to listen. Singing participants may bring their own scores or borrow from UWEC (on a first-come, first-served basis). Approximate runtime: 1 hr. Featuring UW-Eau Claire's Symphonic Choir.

- The Middle School Honor Choir Festival awards middle-level students (7th and 8th grade) the opportunity to participate in a festival choir experience, culminating in an evening concert. - Come enjoy a day filled with tenors and basses! This festival offers high school tenor and bass singers a space to learn and perform within a specific ensemble containing singers from across the region. Students perform repertoire fit for the tenor-bass voice in a supportive and fun atmosphere, and have the opportunity to participate in side-by-side rehearsals and performance with UWEC's Singing Statesmen. 4th - Treble Choir Festival - Gantner Concert Hall - All Day
13th - Artist-in-Residence Concert - Gantner Concert Hall - 7:30pm
- The festival is open to all high school treble singers. Under the direction of Dr. Frank A. Watkins, Director of Choral Activities, singers will spend the day rehearsing side-by-side with Women's Concert Chorale (WoCo). The day will consist of break-out sectionals and team-building activities led by WoCo and will end with a final concert. For more information, visit our Treble Choir Festival Page.
13th - Artist-in-Residence Concert - Gantner Concert Hall - 7:30pm
- Each year, UWEC choral students get the opportunity to work with a deeply established figure in the modern music scene. In this 3-day collaborative event, choirs will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a composer, singing music, asking questions, and immersing themselves in the choral music. - Travel with us for a two-night adventure to Vienna, Austria... not really. With the transformation of the student center, you would believe that you traveled right from Wisconsin to Austria. Filled with dancing, drinking, music, and more, this excursion to Vienna will be the best ball this side of the Atlantic. Gemücklikeit!

- The pinnacle for the Statesmen 2024-25 season is the Spring concert which combines the vast amount of work and dedication that this ensemble has worked for all year. This event often sells out, so get your tickets in advance, and be prepared to be amazed, once again, by UWEC's choral excellence.
