About the festival
For the second year, UW-Eau Claire Choirs is excited to host our High School Choral Leadership Academy on Saturday, September 28 from 9am-3pm! Directors can send/bring their students who are emerging as leaders in their program to come learn more about leadership in choir. Students will be given insight and hands-on practice in how to lead warm ups and sectionals, how to build leadership and teamwork skills, and more. This festival is a great way to develop the skills of your current and future student leaders. Although this festival is more geared towards high school students, Directors are more than welcome to participate!

Date & Time: Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 9am-3pm
Fee: $20.00 per student (covering lunch, a t-shirt, and other expenses)
Registration is due September 9, 2024. Students registrations can be transfered or canceled on or before Friday, September 13. Students who drop after this deadline will still need to pay a $10 fee.
Early registration is encouraged. Directors will be notified of confirmed participation and receive pertinent information, including the day-of schedule, prior to the event. The fee of $20.00 per each attending student is due on or by the day of the festival on September 28; checks are payable to UWEC Choral Area and can be sent/brought with.
