"I truly believe that being a part of the UWEC Choral Area changed the entire course and outlook of my time at UWEC. I did not participate in a choir my first two years in college, and I still regret that decision to this day. By my junior year, however, I was able to go on multiple trips and tours to places I have never seen before; I have also met so many wonderful and inspiring people since joining choir again, and memories have been made that will stick with me for the rest of my life. All these things put together have enriched my whole experience at UWEC to something I didn't think was possible, and I couldn't feel any luckier."

"I chose to be a part of this choral program, because each choir gives me countless opportunities to grow in more than just a musical way. I was given the chance to lead my peers, create and improve upon cohesion, as well as perform world class music in world class venues. My time spent in choir has supplemented my education in history, public speaking, and second language development. The community that surrounds all of the choral ensembles cares as much about the music as the individuals who are a part of it. We have a wonderful support system that will benefit you as a student, as well as  during your professional career, no matter what that career might be. It is safe to say that there are no other choral ensembles like those found here at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire."

"Committing to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Choral Area was one of the best decisions I could have made coming to college. I had no idea how much it would demand me to express myself and grow as a person, but I know that I am a better person because of it. My music brothers and sisters have shown me what it is to love and share passion with others. They have taught me how beautiful it is to make yourself vulnerable to music. Most of all, they have shown me that it does not end here and we are part of something much bigger than ourselves."

"Never would I have imagined that the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Choral Area would have had such a major impact on my life when I joined The Singing Statesmen my freshman year of college. This department has not only helped me grow and excel as an individual through my studies while here at Eau Claire, but also the journey that lies ahead once I graduate. The community, aesthetic, and serenity that this choral area possess for not just the music, but each other, is something that is so welcoming and unique to the department. Some of the greatest memories I have created during my college experience and my closest friends would not exist if it were not for the choral program here at Eau Claire."

"The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Choral Area is unlike other colleges choral programs. As a transfer student, I have been able to experience another university's choral program, and Eau Claire's choral department is so much different. It is stronger, larger, and deeper. Deeper as in, we can accomplish so much more musically and emotionally. The Eau Claire Choral Department truly creates a connection between students. I can not imagine not being in choir."
